Guy Marchand

Guy Marchand ( May 22nd, 1937 in Paris) is a French actor, jazz clarinetist and singer.

Life

Marchand was born in the district Ménilmontant. His father was a scrap dealer at the flea market of Saint -Ouen. Early on, he discovered his love of jazz and played in the Paris Club clarinet. During the Algerian War, he was at times as a paratrooper Lieutenant liaison officer to the Foreign Legion and during a holiday he wrote " La Passionata " which was of him singing the hit of the summer 1965 ( before His music had already been interpreted by chanson singers such as Hervé Vilard and Régine ).
