Guy V, Count of Saint-Pol

Guido IV of Châtillon (franz: Guy IV de Chatillon, † 1360 in London ) was a Count of Saint-Pol from the house Châtillon. He was a son of Count John of Saint-Pol († 1344) and Jeanne de Fiennes.

In the hundred years war fought Guido as a royal commander ( lieutenant du roi ) in Picardy in several battles against the English. In the wake of the Peace of Brétigny in 1360 he had to move to the court of the King of England as a hostage for King John II. There, however, he died shortly afterwards of the plague.

Guido was married to Jeanne de Luxembourg († 1392 ), daughter of John I, gentlemen of Ligny. Since they had no children followed him his sister Mathilde and her husband Guy de Luxembourg, who was a brother of his wife, the inheritance after.
