Guzel Manyurova

Güzäl Tahir kızı Mänürowa ( Tatar Гүзәл Таһир кызы Мәнүрова; Russian Гюзель Тагировна Манюрова / Gjusel Tagirowna Manjurowa; born January 24, 1978 in Saransk, Mordvinian ASSR, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union) is a wrestler of Tatar origin from Russia, who competes for Kazakhstan since 2010. She won a silver medal in the weight category up to 72 kg for Russia at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. At the Olympic Games in London in 2012, she won a bronze medal in the weight category up to 72 kg for Kazakhstan.

Career

Güzäl Mänürowa was born in Mordovia in a Tatar family and moved as a child with his parents to Moscow. Prior to 2002, she operated Aikido, where it has the 3rd Dan and was temporarily Vice President of Akikai Russia. Because she wanted to run a competitive sport began more than 20 years old was with the rings.
