Gwoyeu Romatzyh

Gwoyeu Romatzyh (Chinese国语 罗马 字/国语 罗马 字, Pinyin Guóyǔ Luómǎzì, Romanization of the language ') is a romanization of the Chinese language, which was created in 1926 by a group of Chinese linguist Yuen Ren Chao below. Although it was officially recognized by the Chinese government in 1928, it remained limited to a few dictionaries. The name Gwoyeu Romatzyh is the proper name, which is written in deviation from their own rules " Roma " instead of " Luomaa ".
