The language Agwagwune ( agwaguna, " akunakuna " akurakura, gwune, okurikan, ISO 639-3 is yay ) is a language of the Niger -Congo language family with a total of 20,000 speakers in the Nigerian state of Cross River.

The Bible was translated into the language Agwagwune 1894.

The dialects of the language are abayongo ( bayono, bayino ) Abini ( obini, abiri ) adim ( Odim, dim), orum, Gimmick ( " enna " ezei ) agwagwune and etono ( etuno ). Together with the languages ​​Kohumono [ bcs ] and Umon [ umm ] it is the language group of the Kohumono languages ​​within the Cross River languages.
