Gyldén (crater)

Gylden is an impact crater on the lunar front side south of the sine Medii, northeast of Ptolemy and east of Herschel. The crater is eroded. In the West, the Wall is superimposed by a broad furrow.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Swedish astronomer Hugo Gylden.
