Building codes

Germany

According to the construction requirements of the countries specific standard or minimum dimensions are prescribed or recommended, for example, 15 m × 27 m in the annex to school building regulation in Bavaria. In particular, the DIN 18032, DIN 18036 and DIN 18038 applies.

If large gymnastic or sports halls have a multiple of these dimensions and are divisible by flexible walls, one speaks of multiple warehouses, for example, triple gymnasium, sports hall or triple room.
