Gynaeceum

Gynaikonitis (Greek γυναικωνῖτις ), also gynaikeion ( γυναικεῖον ) Latinized, gynaeceum or gynoecium referred to in the Greek residential house the women's section, the most - rather closed to the outside - was upstairs.
