Gyula Thürmer

Gyula Thürmer ( born April 14, 1953 in Budapest) is a Hungarian politician.

Since the establishment of the Hungarian Communist Workers' Party on December 17, 1989 Gyula Thürmer is its chairman.

Life

His father was a career officer and his mother worked in an embroidery. His sister is a teacher. In 1971 he joined the Budapest Mihály Fazekas from high school, and then to study in Moscow.

He has two children.
