H. C. Andersen Marathon
The HC Andersen Marathon is a marathon in the Danish city of Odense, which takes place since 2000. With over 1,000 runners and a men's course record of 2:10 is one of the best-attended and fastest marathon competitions in Scandinavia. Since 2006, the program also a part of a half marathon for women, since 2009 for men.
Route
Is run on a circuit that is handled twice by the half- marathon runners and even of the marathoners. The start is in Idrætspark; from there it goes first to the north of the city, then south passing by on a loop through the center and after a short detour to the right bank of the Odense River back to the starting point where the target is located on HC Andersens Hus in Atletikstadion.
