Ha'amonga 'a Maui

The Haamonga A Maui is an archway on the island of Tongatapu in Tonga. It is located near the former Tongan capital Heketa in the northeast of the island.

The structure consists of two upright stone blocks and one lying on them third block. It is about 5 meters high and consists of fossilized coral. The largest block has a weight of about 50 tonnes.

The Haamonga A Maui was built in the early 13th century. Its meaning is unknown today.
