Habesh Eyalet
' Habes Eyaleti was built in 1555 management unit ( eyalet, later vilayet ) in the Ottoman Empire, which included, among other things, the area of today's State of Eritrea on the Red Sea. The Ottoman rule in Eritrea lasted until 1884.
The name of the Eyalets is derived from the Arabic name al - Ḥabaša for Ethiopia.
