Geography
On the 220 m above sea level. NN high Kirchberg has one on Ruedesheimer Rottland on which stands the Niederwalddenkmal a good view of the Hunsrück, the Rhein-Nahe -Eck to enter. History
Hack home was part of the County of Sponheim. After the extinction of the Counts of Sponheim, the territory was split into several times alternating possession. From 1707 Hack home belonged completely to Electoral Palatinate.
During the so-called French period the site was assigned to the Canton Wöllstein in departments Thunder Mountain. Because of the 1815 taken at the Congress of Vienna agreements concluded between 1816 and Hesse, Prussia and Austria State Treaty, the region, and thus the community Hackenheim came to the Grand Duchy of Hesse and was allocated from this province Rheinhessen. Festivals
In addition to the wine festival in the municipality of Bad Kreuznach, that takes place every year in one of the associated communities in June, has been around since 2004, the "Rendezvous at Kapellsche ".
