Hacker-Pschorr was a brewery in Munich and is now a brand of the Paulaner brewery.

History

It was in 1417 for the first time mentioned by name on the estate at the site of today's restaurant " Old House Hacker " in the Sendlingerstraße in Munich. The Munich beer Chronicle shows an illustration: "The birthplace of Joseph Pschorr'schen brewery " to Hackher » Sentlingergasse .. XM. Century ". As of 1993, the Pschorr courtyards were built (including the office complex of the European Patent Office) on the former site of the Hacker-Pschorr brewhouse to the hacker bridge. The brewing equipment were merged with those of the Paulaner brewery. Since 1998 the beer is only produced in the plants of the Paulaner brewery.

Today is the Hacker-Pschorr Bräu GmbH part of the Paulaner interconnection and belongs to the BHI ( Brau Holding International), which is a joint venture between the Schörghuber group ( 50.1 %) and the Dutch Heineken NV ( 49.9%) is.

Since early 2007, all the beers are bottled (except Pils 0.33 ) of the Hacker-Pschorr Munich brewery back in bottles with swing top.

Oktoberfest

The Hacker-Pschorr brewery supplied by the large marquees the hacker marquee and the Bräurosl and on the Wiesn Oidn the Heart Punch Marquee. While the beer is distributed in the first two from a central tank through pipes to the taverns, traditional wooden barrels come in the Heart Punch and Judy tent used.
