Hackerbibel

The hackers Bible is a publication of the Chaos Computer Club. She's been published in two editions in 1985 and 1988. Both editions were published by Wau Holland and published by the publishing house Verdant Force.

The hackers Bible is a conglomeration of documents and stories of the hacker scene, such as the blueprint for the as " Datenklo " titled acoustic coupler. It also provides instructions and other technical backgrounds. The first edition appeared in 1985 with the subtitle cable salad is healthy, and achieved by mid- 1988, a paid circulation of 25,000 copies. The issue 2 from 1988 is also called The New Testament. The comic drawings of the envelope images are the creation of the comic artist Mali Beinhorn and Werner Büsch from Comic Workshop Büsch - Beinhorn. The production and distribution of hacker Bible was discontinued before 1990. Since 1999, the CCC provides a scanned and available in full text version with additional material such as texts by Peter Glaser, a documentary about Karl Koch and the work of Tron, on the chaos CD.
