Hadadezer bar Rehob

Hadad - ezer was King of the Aramaic Kingdom Zobah and son of rehob. He is so far attested only by biblical references, where he appears as an opponent of King David and from this defeat. Thus he lived in the 10th century BC.

According to the second book of Samuel formed Hadad - ezer with the Ammonites a coalition against David, but this was defeated. After this defeat, especially Aram - Damascus rose to become a national center of power.
