Hadashot

Chadashot (Hebrew: חדשות, " News" ) was an Israeli newspaper.

History

Chadashot was founded by journalists who worked during the Yom Kippur War in Galei IDF.

Chadashot reported on the kidnapping of the bus line 300 from Tel Aviv to Ashkelon. Then, the production of the newspaper was prevented from April 29 to May 1, 1984 by the Military Censor. 1993 a court ruled that censorship was unfounded.

Hadashot was initially a young, left, establishment - critical image was written in Hebrew for young people with bonds from the slang. Later the image was conservative, the conditions remained low.

Was Chadashot with Jedi'ot Aharonot competitors in the evening newspapers advertising and recipient segment. On November 29, 1993 Amos Schocken reported by a peaked loss of approximately $ 20 million and announced the closure of the newspaper.

The Tabloid ( 430 × 280 mm) paper format was colored bedruckes paper whose color fluctuated from yellow to light brown.
