Haderslev Municipality

The Haderslev Kommune is a Danish municipality in the region Syddanmark. It originated with the Danish municipal reform on 1 January 2007 by merging the "old" Haderslev Kommune with the existing communities and Gram Vojens well as the communities Bevtoft Sogn (previously Nørre - Rangstrup municipality ) Hjerndrup Sogn, Bjerning Sogn Sogn and Fjelstrup (previously Christian field municipality ). First Mayor was the former mayor Hans Peter Cramer Geil ( Venstre ).

The municipality covers an area of ​​818.70 km ² and has 56 051 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013).
