The Hafravatn is a lake in Iceland. It is located around 14 km from the Icelandic capital Reykjavik in the municipality of mosfellsbær.
Geography
The lake is located southeast of the Palagonitrücken Úlfarsfell. Southwest of Hafravatn is the lake Langavatn. To the east of the lake lies the mountain Hafrahlíð.
The area of the Hafravatn is 1.02 km ², the lake reaches a maximum depth of 28 m. The lake is fed by the river Seljadalsá. The outflow of the lake is the Úlfarsá.
Tourism
To shore of the lake you will find cottages and the ruins of a Schafspferchs.
Pisces
In the lake you will find arctic char and trout, rarely salmon.

Along the eastern bank of the Hafravatnsvegur runs (Street 4035 ).
