Haim Ginott

Haim G. Ginott (* August 5, 1922 in Tel Aviv, † November 4, 1973 in New York City ) was an Israeli psychologist who dealt with the relationship between parents and their children.

Ginott began in 1947 in Israel to work as a primary school teacher. After his emigration to the United States, he studied at Columbia University psychology, where he received his doctorate in clinical psychology in 1952.

Ginotts most famous work Between parent and child (parents and children) has been translated into several languages ​​and was for some years a best-seller.
