Hajdúszovát
Hajdúszovát (formerly Szováth ) is a municipality in the small area of Hajduszoboszlo Hungary in the East.

Along the municipal border with Kaba flows Keleti channel. Hajdúszovát borders the following municipalities:
History
Szováth ( different spelling Szovát ) was first mentioned in a papal tithe list ( 1332-1337 ). In 1898 the name was changed to Hajdúszovát (reference to Hajduk ).

Ethnic Groups
In 2001, 98 % of the population as Magyars, and 2% identified themselves as Roma.

- Several unexplored kurgans at the border
- Protection wall with 10 bullet holes from the 17th century
- Reformed Church 1785-1787 attributable to classicism, with a 39 m high Baroque tower
