HÃ¥kon Wium Lie
Håkon Wium Lie ( born 1965 in Norway) is a Norwegian computer scientist and manager. Since 1999 he has been Chief Technology Officer ( CTO) at Opera Software, where he worked among others in the development of Cascading Style Sheets ( CSS).
On October 10, 1994, he stated in the article " Cascading HTML style sheets - a proposal" before the concept of CSS. Since 1995 Lie works within the World Wide Web Consortium ( W3C) in updating the W3C CSS recommendations.
