Hällefors

Hällefors is a place ( tätort ) in the Swedish province of Örebro County and the historic province of Västmanland. He is also chief town of the same name.

The town's name appeared first in 1643 as a name for a silver mine ( Hellefårs Sillfwerbruk ), which in 1639 lasted until the 19th century.

Hällefors lies on the railway line Kil - Ställdalen.
