Hallwil

Hallwil ( in the local dialect Haubu, hɑʊbʊ ) is a municipality in the district of Lenzburg in the canton of Aargau. It is located just under seven kilometers south of the main town in the district of Lake Valley. From 1566 to 1950 there was the place name Niederhallwil, but only in official use.

Geography

The hamlet the western edge of the Lake Valley extends along. However, it is not at Hallwilersee, but less than two kilometers from its northern end, on moraine. History
