Halou

Halou is a band from San Francisco, California. Their music has elements of trip hop.

History

Ryan and Rebecca met in 1992 in an independent music shop in Santa Cruz, which belonged to Ryan's father. Three years later they moved to San Francisco. From this time they called themselves Halou. In 1998 they released their debut album We Only Love You on the independent label Bedazzled; it was well received by critics. This was followed in 1999 by Sans Soucie a collection of coupled- pieces. The next two albums, Wiser and Wholeness & Separation, were published in 2001 and 2006 by Nettwerk.
