Halstroff

Halstroff ( German Halsdorf, Lorraine Hoolstroff ) is a commune with 297 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district of Thionville -Est and Canton Sierck- les- Bains.

Geography

The community Halstroff lies about 23 kilometers east of Thionville and five kilometers from the border of the Saarland ( Biringen ). The municipality covers 10.78 km ².

History
