Hamad Amar

Hamad Amar (Hebrew חמד עמאר; Arab حمد عمار; born November 5, 1964 in Israel) is an Israeli Druze politician who is currently member of the Knesset for the nationalist party Jisra'el Beiteinu.

Biography

Amar did his military service between 1982 and 1986 in the Israeli armed forces. He attained a bachelor's degree in sociology at the Safed College and later studied law. He served as an assistant Avigdor Lieberman during this Minister of National Infrastructures was. In 1998 he was elected to the City Council Schefar'am in northern Israel. He founded and directs the Druze youth organization, in addition he is also Chairman of the martial arts association in Israel.
