Hamburg Rom Wolfsheim is the first and hitherto only live album of the German synthpop duo Wolfsheim.

Emergence and Artwork

The album consists of 19 songs. With the exception of Ruby, Do not Take Your Love to Town all the songs on the album of the two Wolfsheim members Peter Heppner and Markus Reinhardt were even written. The album was produced by Lothar Gärtner and Carlos Peron, for the live recording Jürgen Jansen was responsible. The album was released under the label Strange Ways Records. The album contains a mix of electronic music, pop and synth. The cover of the album is held greenish. On it are all the cities of vorgegangenen Dreaming Apes tour in 1996, in which the song was recorded for the album. In digipak of the album there is an additional sticker.

Publication and Promotion

The first release of the album took place in Germany on 20 October 1997. Initially the album was only available as a CD, since the beginning of downloadable music, the album is also acquirable in jedlichen music download portals.

Title list

All tracks are live recordings. With the exception of Ruby, Do not Take Your Love to Town all the songs of Wolfsheim were even written. Ruby, Do not Take Your Love to Town became a musician Mel Tillis composed by the American country. Intro and A Million Love Songs are two songs that are represented for the first time on a Wolfsheim album.
