Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum (Arabic حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم, also known as Fazza'a, the name under which he publishes his poetry, born 14 November 1982) is the Hereditary Prince of Dubai and the second eldest son of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Training
Sheikh Hamdan began his schooling in the Rashid School For Boys. Later he went to the UK to begin a study. After graduating from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, he attended the London School of Economics.
Roles and positions
On 1 February 2008 he was appointed by the crown prince Sheikh Mohammed of Dubai. As crown prince, in turn, he summoned the economist John Calverley and the hedge fund magnate James T. Naeem of HN Capital LLP to his personal advisers. He is also the Chairman of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders, and of Dubai Sports Council.
