Hami City

The city of Hami (Chinese哈密 市, pinyin Hami Shì; Uighur: قۇمۇل / accumulation ), called in Chinese " Hami ", is a city of the district of accumulation ( Hami ) in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China. The city is an oasis. Its area is 85,035 km ².

Several archaeological sites in the area of the city accumulations were included in the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China in the years 2001 and 2006:

  • Buddhist monastery ruins of Baiyanggou ( Baiyanggou Fosi Yizhi )
  • Yanbulaq Tombs ( Bronze Age, Early Iron Age ) ( Yanbulake gumuqun )
  • Wubao Tombs ( Bronze Age ) ( Wubao Muqun )
  • Tombs of Muslim kings of Hami ( Hami Hui Wangmu )
