Hamilton Bulldogs
The Hamilton Bulldogs are an ice hockey team in the American Hockey League. They play in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in Copps Coliseum.
History
When the Edmonton Oilers in 2002 decided to dissolve their member Hamilton Bulldogs, were shortly afterwards the Quebec citadels relocated to Hamilton and founded the Bulldogs new. After a Fanvoting the old name was taken. Since then, the Bulldogs are the farm team of the Montreal Canadiens (NHL ), but also sometimes the Oilers are still working with them.
Already in its first year, the Bulldogs best team preliminaries and also reached the final of the Calder Cup. In the following years would retire earlier and earlier into the play-offs and missed it 2005/ 06 altogether.
In the season 2006/ 07, the greatest success of the franchise history could be celebrated, winning the Calder Cup. The team to Corey Locke, Dan Jancevski and Carey Price ( the MVP of the play-offs was ) suggested last year's winner, the. Hershey Bears, 4-1 in the final round
