Hammarby Hockey Hockey was the division of the Swedish sports club Hammarby IF in Stockholm. The existing 1921-2008 hockey department was eight times Swedish Champion. Its home games was from Hammarby in Hovet.
History
The Department of Hammarby IF Hockey was established on 7 March 1921. It was in 1922 right off the bat Swedish runner-up. Until the mid- 1950s, the team was one of the strongest in Sweden and was eight times Swedish champion and runner. From the season 1956/57, wore Hammarby its home games at Hovet opened a year earlier. At the early successes but the club in the aftermath was not able. At the Elitserien founded in 1975 Hammarby took only for the seasons 1982/83 and 1984/85 part, however, rose both times in tenth and thus Last directly again. Following the 2007/ 08 season had the Hockey Department Hammarbys, which took at this time in the second-rate HockeyAllsvenskan to file for bankruptcy. Then the fans Fangruppierung BAJEN founded their own hockey club hockey fans BAJEN. This participates to the fünftklassigen Division 3 Season 2010/11 and also plays in Hovet.
