Hamtaro

Hamtaro (Japaneseとっとこ ハム 太郎, Tottoko Hamutarō ) is a manga series Ritsuko Kawai. It is about the adventures of some hamsters and was adapted into an anime, and in the form of several video games.

Action

Hamtaro is the pet of the fifth year Laura. He is a golden hamster with an insatiable curiosity. Together with the " Ham -Ham friends ," a group of hamsters, he is confronted in every episode with everyday problems.

Publication

The manga was released in Japan by Shogakukan in three volumes. Viz Media also brought this out in English.

Anime series

Directed by Osamu Nabeshima TMS Entertainment produced an adaptation of the manga for television. For Junko Yamanaka and Masatomo sudo designed the character design and Akira Furuya took over the artistic direction. Producers were Noriko Kobayashi, Sachiko Yoshida and Yuoh Sekita. The animated series ran between July 7, 2000 and March 31, 2006 at the Japanese broadcaster TV Tokyo.

The series was broadcast among other things, in the U.S., Canada, UK, Germany ( RTL II), Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Philippines, Malayasia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand. 2003, the first 12 episodes were released in Germany on VHS and DVD.

The music of the series comes from Motoyoshi Iwasaki. You used the song Tottoko no Uta by Hamuchanzu in three different versions for the opening credits. The Broadcast was backed up with the following titles:

In Germany appeared Hamtaro: Ham - Hams Unite! for the Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance titles Hamtaro: Rainbow Rescue, Hamtaro: Ham Ham Games Hamtaro and: Ham -Ham Heartbreak. Only after Japan and the USA managed Hamtaro: Ham Ham Challenge for the Nintendo DS.
