Hamur ( Turkish for dough ) is a town and a district in Turkey. It belongs to the province of Ağrı and is located in Eastern Anatolia. Hamur is centrally located in the province and is bordered to the east by the province of Van. The district has 21,011 inhabitants Hamur, the city 2,945 (as of 2012).
