Hand dryer

A hand dryer is an electric appliance for drying hands after hand washing. It is mostly used in public toilets. Traditional hand dryers use a hot air blower and bring the moisture on your hands to evaporation. They are also called hot-air hand dryer. A technical innovation of the last years are hand dryers, with a powerful fan ( mostly cold air) blow down water from the hands and the remaining moisture to evaporate. The drying time can therefore be reduced to about ten seconds.

The intake air must be filtered and otherwise pathogen, bacteria and the like are taken from the ambient air on the hands.
