Hank Aaron Award

The Hank Aaron Award is an annual award for the best batter in each of the American and National League in Major League Baseball. It was introduced in 1999, 25 years after Hank Aaron had surpassed the record for home runs by Babe Ruth.

The price is the best individual offensive performance reward. It is awarded based on a points system that is determined to be 30 % of a vote among fans on mlb.com, the website of the Major League, and 70% by a survey of television and radio journalists.

Previous record prize winner is Alex Rodriguez, who was honored for the fourth time with the Hank Aaron Award 2007.
