Hanna Krall

Hanna Krall ( born May 20, 1935 in Warsaw) is a Polish writer and journalist.

Life

Hanna Krall survived the Warsaw Ghetto. Your journalistic work she began in 1955 in the editorial department of the newspaper Zycie Warszawy in Warsaw. In 1966 she began to work for the political weekly magazine Polityka and was from 1966 to 1969 foreign correspondent in the Soviet Union. She then worked inter alia for the, founded in 1989 Solidarity newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza.
