Hanne Hukkelberg

Hanne Hukkelberg (* April 1979 in Kongsberg, Norway) is a Norwegian composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist with jazz, electric folk, indie rock and experimental music forms.

Life

During her youth and jazz music studies was Hanne Hukkelberg singer in eleven band formations, ranging from jazz, free jazz, folk to rock music, Heavy Metal. In Norway, in addition to the study of classical music, there is also the jazz studies. For the latter, she decided. Hukkelberg has started composing music for theater and film productions.

For her first solo album, Little Things, released in original language Norwegian version in March 2004, she gained two years of city and nature sounds. These built it into their compositions, which she recorded with fellow musicians and instruments in the normal propeller Studio in Oslo. The album met with much praise, especially in the English-speaking world.

In 2006, a scholarship allowed her a six-month stay in Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg neighborhood art scene. In April 2007, Hanne Hukkelberg went with four friends accompanying musicians on a European tour through Germany, Italy, France and the Benelux countries. The cast consisted of drums, bass, keyboards, accordion, electric guitar and various special sound tools.

Music and lyrics
