Hannibal Muammar Gaddafi

Hannibal al - Gaddafi (Arabic هانيبال القذافي, DMG Hanibal al - Qaddafi, born September 20, 1975 in Tripoli) is the fourth son of the former Libyan ruler Muammar Gaddafi with his second wife Safia Farkash.

Gaddafi was arrested on 15 July 2008 along with his wife Aline Skaf today in Geneva after two domestic workers had shown him. The arrest triggered the Swiss Libya affair.

Against the background of the Libyan civil war Interpol issued, inter alia, a warning about Hannibal Gaddafi, as he stood on the EU sanction list. Gaddafi fled with a few other members on 29 August 2011 after Algeria.
