Hanns Kilian

Hanns Kilian (* May 2, 1905, † April 17, 1981 in Garmisch -Partenkirchen ) was a German bobsledder. He won two Olympic medals and was three times world champion.

Career

Kilian took in 1928 in St. Moritz for the first time participate in the Olympics. In Fünferbob with Valentin Krempl, Hans Hess, Sebastian Huber and Hans Nägle Kilian won the bronze medal behind the controlled of William Fiske and Jennison Heaton bobs from the United States. 1930 Kilian won his first German championship with Sebastian Huber in the two-man bob. 1931 was held in Oberhof first time Bob World Cup in the two- and Kilian won together with Sebastian Huber the title. At the 1932 Olympic Games in Lake Placid, the usual today competitions were held in the two- man and four for the first time and. Kilian Huber and occupied by the Two- fifth.
