Hans Aabech

Hans Vilhelm Aabech ( born 1 November 1948 in Copenhagen ) is a retired Danish footballer. Aabech was striker and played in his native Denmark, the Netherlands and Belgium.

Career

Aabech began his career at Skovshoved IF. He then moved to the team of Hvidovre IF, with whom he won the 1973 Danish championship. In the same year he was voted Denmark's Player of the Year.

In the years 1973 and 1974 Aabech played his only three games for the Danish national team. In the summer of 1974, he joined the Belgian first division club FC Bruges, in which he played 16 games in the following season, and scored five goals. There followed a year each in the Dutch Teams FC Twente Enschede and De Graafschap and two years in Belgium at KV Oostende.

1979 Aabech returned back to Denmark and joined Hvidovre IF in. In 1980 he was top scorer in the Danish League at Kjøbenhavns Bold Club. After working for Lyngby BK and Hellerup IK finished Aabech his career.
