Hans Aarsman

Hans Aarsman ( * 1951 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch photographer and author.

He was initially a photojournalist, among other things, for the daily newspaper Trouw. In 1989 he published the book Hollandse taferelen ( Dutch panel paintings ) - landscapes, photographed from the roof of his camper, which he drew for a year through the Netherlands. 1990/91 he made a series of photographs of East German cities. In 1993 he submitted the photo book Aarsmans Amsterdam and 1995 Een engeltje dat over mijn tong Piest, was published in 2003 his car photography book Vrooom! Vrooom! .

In addition to his photographic work Aarsman writes novels and plays. His debut work was Hoofden Twee, een kiss (1995). He devoted himself in recent years, more writing than photography. "The pen has a lens with multiple perspectives, multiple viewpoints are simultaneously possible," he said.
