Main ideas

His ideas relate primarily to the philosophy of objects and argue for a morality of machines. In his view, objects are to be more than morally neutral things and people draw such barriers, the one force in the subway to buy a ticket. Next they should exert moral pressure which is even more effective than the threat of punishment. Achterhuis takes to Utopia had failed, but the world can still be transmitted through the transmitting morals of mankind on machines.
