Hans Boskamp

Hans Boskamp (pseudonym of Johannes Gerardus Hendricus Hoelscher, born May 7, 1932 in Rotterdam, † March 22, 2011 in Dordrecht ) was a Dutch football player and actor.

Career

Hans Boskamp was born as the son of actor and singer Johan Boskamp in Rotterdam. He first became known as a football player in Ajax Amsterdam and met four times on the national team.

After school Boskamp studied law; then he worked in a bank. From 1960 he worked as an actor, first in theater at his father's side. Later, he has appeared in various television series on, for example, in the historic Art series Floris as Grutte Pier, in the musical series Yes zuster, nee zuster as Greek Foreign ( a guest role, in which he sang the song has become known Stroei - VÖI ) and later in the Comedy series Oppassen! Jopie as the pimp. In the Dutch version of Sesame Street ( Sesame Street ) he dubbed Oskar Greench dialogues. In 2008, his health deteriorated due to a streptococcal infection. In March 2011 Boskamp died at the age of 78 years at a stroke at a hospital in his home in Dordrecht.
