Hans Brachrogge
Hans Brach Rogge ( * 1590, † after 1638 ) was a Danish musician and composer.
Broke Rogge came as a choirboy at the court of King Christian IV. He studied under the organist Melchior Borchgrevinck. From 1602 to 1604 he was a pupil of Giovanni Gabrieli in Venice. 1611, he was lead singer of the court orchestra. From 1611 to 1614 he undertook with Mogens Pederson and Jacob Ørn a study trip to England. After his return he gave in 1619 " Madrigaletti a 3 voci. Libro primo. " out. A second volume is planned apparently never published. 1621 he got a job in Roskilde, but was continued until 1638 as a member of the court orchestra.
