Hans Brandstetter

Hans Brandstetter ( born January 23, 1854 in Michlbach, Hitzendorf, Styria, † January 4, 1925 in Graz) was an Austrian sculptor and woodcarver.

Hans Brandstetter studied at the Vienna Academy under Edmund Hellmer and Carl Kundmann, he also spent studying in Rome and Paris. He worked as a professor at the State Trade School in Graz. He went, as his son William Gosser, in Graz sculptor Jacob Gschiel into teaching.
