Hans Dresig

Hans Dresig ( born January 31, 1937 in Dölau ) is a German Professor of Engineering Mechanics and author.

After visiting the Workers 'and Peasants' Faculty in Halle ( Saale ) studied Hans Dresig 1954 to 1960 at the Technical University of Dresden and received his PhD in 1965 with the issue of determination of dynamic loads on Wippdrehkranen. Then worked as head of research and development at the crane Eberswalde. From 1969 he worked as a university lecturer at the Chair Machine Dynamics at the Technical University of Chemnitz. In 1971 he qualified with the theme contribution to the optimization of the sequence of movements in machine dynamics. In 1978 he was appointed Professor of Engineering Mechanics and Head of the Department machine dynamics / vibration theory.

Since retirement in 2002, he has been working freelance as a speaker, consultant and expert. From 2009 to 2013 he taught as a visiting professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Nanjing Agricultural University in China.

He co-authored with Franz Holzweißig the standard work machine dynamics.
