Hans Eckstein

Johannes " Hans " Eckstein ( * December 15, 1908 in Leipzig, † March 15, 1985 ) was a German water polo player.

Eckstein took part in the 1932 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, where he reached the water ball, along with his team-mates Erich Rademacher, Fritz favor, Otto Cordes, Emil Benecke, Joachim Rademacher, Hans Schulze and Heiko Schwartz in the final group in second place and thus the silver medal was awarded. Gold reached the water polo team from Hungary.

His brother Curt Eckstein was also a successful swimmers.
