Hans Georg Anscheidt

Hans Georg Anscheidt ( born December 23, 1935 at what was then Königsberg ( Prussia) now Kaliningrad ) is a former German motorcycle racer.

Career

Anscheidt who has trained as a motor vehicle locksmith, was particularly suitable with its size of 166 cm as a racing driver for the small displacement classes.

Hans Georg Anscheidt began his career on Kreidler racing machines in the 50 cc class. In 1961 he was European champion at 50 Kreidler.

In the years 1966, 1967 and 1968 was Anscheidt on Suzuki in the 50 cc class motorcycle world champion.

Overall, he won 14 Grands Prix motorcycle next to in the years 1962 to 1968 seven times in the 50 cc class, as well as 1966 and 1967 in the 125 cc class, the German motorcycle road championship.

1976 Hans Georg Anscheidt was honored for its great sporting achievements of its time young African state of Equatorial Guinea with a special stamp.
