Hans-Josef Fell

Hans -Josef Fell ( born January 7, 1952 in Hammelburg ) is a German politician ( Alliance 90/The Greens ) and former Member of the German Bundestag.

Life and career

After graduation in 1971 at the Frobenius -Gymnasium Hammelburg fur completed a teaching degree in physics and sports science at the University of Würzburg. After the first state examination he performed from 1977 to 1978 his community service in a home for difficult children and adolescents. After the subsequent induction he passed in 1980, the second state examination for secondary school teaching. Since then coat was as a teacher, in 1981 at the Alexander -von- Humboldt -Gymnasium in Schweinfurt, works.

After he was from 2002 to 2005 chairman of the section Germany, fur was 2005-2011 Vice President of EURO SOLAR. Hans -Josef Fell spent several years managing the Hammelburger solar power company and is a member of the Environmental Advisory Board of the Environment Bank AG. Fur is also the initiator of the Energy Watch Group.

Hans -Josef Fell is married and has three children.

He lives in a wooden house with grass roof, he has built himself based on ecological and biological criteria with. His house has won several awards, most recently the Energy Globe Award 2000.

Party

After fur had already committed environmental policy, in 1992 he became a member of the Green Party.

Member of Parliament

From 1990 to 1998 belonged to coat the city council of his hometown mutton castle and from 1996 to 2003 the council of the district Bad Kissingen.

Hans -Josef Fell from 1998 till the elections in 2013 Member of the German Bundestag. From 1998 to 2002 he was a research policy spokesman of the Alliance 90/The Greens parliamentary group and a member of the Committee on Education, Research and Technology Assessment. From 2002 to 2005 he was spokesman for Research and Technology of the Alliance 90/The Greens parliamentary group and chairman of the Committee on the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety of the German Bundestag. Since 2005 he was the energy spokesman of the Alliance 90/The Greens parliamentary group. Furthermore, Hans -Josef Fell since 1998, the rapporteur for the Group for Technology Assessment at the German Parliament ( TAB) and deputy member of the defense committee.

He was a member of the European Union Parliamentarians German Bundestag and Vice-Chairman of the German-Chinese Parliamentary Friendship Group.

Fells special political commitment to full conversion of conventional energy to renewable energies as well as the acceptance of the Peak Oil problem in the economy, society and politics. He is next to the SPD deputies Hermann Scheer the "father" of the Renewable Energy Sources Act. He is also responsible for legislation and policy initiatives to promote biofuels.

Hans -Josef Fell is always drawn on a state list Bavaria in the Bundestag. His constituency was the Bad Kissingen. Due to the bad election results of the Greens in the Bundestag election in 2013 Fell was not elected to the German Bundestag on 22 Sept. 2013.
